Travel and Accommodation
Venue
QEC 2027 will be held at the Campus des Cordeliers of Sorbonne Université, 15 Rue de l’École de Médecine, 75006 Paris, in the Latin Quarter on the left bank of the Seine.
Getting to Paris
Paris is served by two international airports, Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to the north-east and Orly (ORY) to the south. Both are connected to the city centre by public transport; from Charles de Gaulle, the RER B runs directly to Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame, a short walk from the conference venue. Paris is also well connected by high-speed rail to much of western Europe, and we encourage participants to travel by train where that is practical.
Getting to the venue
The nearest métro station is Odéon (lines 4 and 10), a few minutes’ walk from the venue. Cluny–La Sorbonne (line 10) and Saint-Michel (line 4) are also nearby, as is the RER B and C station Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame.
Accommodation
Information about hotels and recommended neighbourhoods will be published here closer to the conference.
Visas
Depending on your nationality you may need a visa to enter France. Please check the requirements well in advance of the conference. Details on how to request an invitation letter will be published together with the registration information.
Things to do
Suggestions for what to see and do in Paris outside the conference programme will be added here closer to the event.
